Game Boy / Re: Tom and Jerry 3 GBA?
« Last post by forgotusername on March 20, 2024, 01:09:15 AM »
It appears to be the Master System version running on the homebrew SMSAdvance emulator. It's quite interesting regardless, as I've never seen a single-cartridge GBA bootleg running a Master System game like that (it was common practice for NES games through PocketNES, but not other emulators).

Game Boy / Tom and Jerry 3 GBA?
« Last post by ShantaeFan123 on March 19, 2024, 11:50:44 PM »
Hello so a a few days ago on mercari, I found this Tom and Jerry bootleg titled Tom and Jerry 3. I’m only aware of the NES game by Dragon Co. And There’s not much I can explain about it or find and I can’t seem to find any dumps either nor is it on AliExpress. To prove that this is real. Here’s the same picture of the cartridge I found on mercari and a complete copy with the same name

I’m also new here so sorry if I did or said anything wrong but anyways, this does seem interesting and said to myself: could this be the nes classic version or the remake? I was able to find the exact same listing for mercari but that cartridge was the only picture but for the CIB one, there was 2 more pictures here

Those pictures of the CIB and being tested are from carousell.com and yeah. This does not look like a fake version of The officially released Tom and Jerry games but looks more like the Amiga and Atari ST versions of Tom and Jerry or really The game gear and master system Versions of the Tom and Jerry movie based game. This is the best I can provide and if anyone knows anything about this, please let me know!
 Thank you

Hello. I'm using Linux Mint. Can you create a version of NintendulatorNRS that runs directly without using Wine?

Famicom/NES / Is it possible to convert Pink Jelly to a standard NES?

I wonder if it's possible to remake this short Christmas mini-game from Hummer Team into a standard and understandable look for NES hardware? I could convert the graphics of the game to 2bpp, it remains only to find a person who can rewrite VT03 registers for a standard MMC3 mapper.
Attached below is the original 2Mb *.bin image, as well as a partially cropped (from unnecessary garbage) version and an *.cdl file for FCEUX 2.3.0.

Greetings. Thank you for this valuable information. I will be using it soon as I start translating the game Fairy's Treasure.

Hello everyone,

I want to translate NES Bootleg games into Turkish, but I can't find the locations of some game logos. How can I find the logos of these games?

For example: Fairy's Treasure.

I tried to find the location using FCEUX, but it directs me to the in-game texts.

Your thoughts are important.
If you are looking for a logo, then you need to look for it in the graphics data. Although, company logos in translations are usually not translated, it is the title page that is translated, definitely not the logo.
Start the ROM, turn on the Code/Data Logger, after capturing the title page, click Pause, then go to the Hex Editor -> ROM and look for the data responsible for the title and other inscriptions. But this method doesn't work here, because there is a nuance.
This game, like some other Nice Code games, uses an inverted table, where 00=FF, respectively, the data will have to be counted in a similar way. And yes, the title page uses RLE (Run Length Encrypt) compression, so you may have to delve into the intricacies of editing within this compression.

Famicom/NES dumps / Re: Help dumping an educational multicart

I tried to restore the menu of this multicart, but that's all I managed to do.
By the way, when the Subor keyboard is turned on, the title screen in front of this menu turns on.
