Super Famicom/SNES / Obscure SNES pirates

Dunno if it matters but I recently found out the Digimon pirate only has five levels. I think I may have scored a copy of it, not 100% yet. More to come =p

Mega Drive/Genesis / Super Mario Advance for Genesis!?

Well, as if things can't get worse the buyer is now actually UPPING the shipping to $40. I'm not 100% sure what's going to happen from here. ;/

I did find a better pic of the cart, for anyone(....anyone?) that cares.

Edit: Shipping'd been lowered, this is now costing me $50 in total. Better than the nearly $100 it was originally going to cost    I also have enough money now, so everybody that wasn't donating any money for this, continue to do so  :yay:

That game doesn't look half bad. The graphics on the map feel familiar, but then again world maps tend to look the same a lot of the time. Did you say Devil Land was basically the same thing?

Found a rare pic and added it to the Tiny Toon 3 page.

Not much but for me personally it's a great find.

In case there's misunderstanding I don't own all of them, just the Hercules. All the pics came from that guy at Digital Press, which I think you posted the topic about on the RX Forum?

I got the Hercules from someone on another forum that lives in Brazil. Pretty much Brazil seems to be THE place for SNES pirates. In fact, I don't think you find them anywhere else. It leads me to believe that all SNES pirates likely were developed in Brazil and not Taiwan, since I've yet to ever come across a single SNES pirate on a Taiwan auction site or for sale from someone over there. Not to mention they always come in SNES shells, not SFC.

Don't worry, I'm in the same position at the moment after buying this :P

Guess it's time to sell of some of my stuff, else I'll never be able to afford this.

I recently found someone that was selling a huge lot of Genesis games for $200. In the middle of all of this was a cartridge that caught my eye.

EdIt: Waiting for it in the mail :)

I remember when the demo for Marble Zone came up for Hummer. It could be because I haven't played Somari in a long time, but the graphics felt different somehow. Maybe it was just the palette? Does anything else seem different to you?

And hope you enjoy your boxed Somari  ^_^

Game Boy / Lord of the Rings GBA from V.Fame

As far as I can tell it's all new music. But it is pretty much GBC quality.

BTW I'm not sure if anyone here saw my link to SkyLeague's Taobao shop, but they actually sell membership to their site. This assumingly includes links to all those ROMs that seem to be exclusive to their site. Anybody up for buying it? :P I'm assuming they possibly dumped this game since they have it on their site.

I was requested to take shots, even if my camera(which happens to be my cell) does a shit job at it. Well, I took a couple shots to show how bad I can take things =p

World Map

First Level, a desert. The series never goes to a desert, just like all the levels.

Lemme know if these seem good enough and you want more shots and I'll see if I can force myself to play through it. The game is honestly a bit boring, I remember wanting to fall asleep the whole way through when I first got it but persevered to the ending just so I don't have to start it all over again

BTW one interesting thing to note is that the Sky League Team screenshots show a title screen that looks like it has a date of 2002. http://www.efgcw.com/?dp-bbsthread-1514.html

My copy says 2003 on the titlescreen. Not sure what to assume there, maybe there's an earlier variant that exists. Maybe this boxed copy is a pirate of a pirate?

I definitely want to see Final Fantaxy IX and Devil Land the most. Wish I could capture stuff. Or even better, had an assured piece of hardware that could dump everything.

Yeah, I got it. I'll try to take shots, I had to buy a GBA SP just for it since I didn't own one. Hopefully the backlight can provide clearer shots.

I'll try taking some in a bit and make a topic.

I added a page for a Lord of the Rings game for GBA. I'm wondering if there should be a separate category for GBA, since Game Boy implies monochrome or color, not Advance. I can't figure out how to add that as a new category though so I assume only admins can.

I really wish I knew Chinese
Any ideas what these items are?

It was on the hut on the overworld map (near the inn).[/quote]All those items are for health and such. All I can say is the very top item cures poison. The rest of the, well, they got names but they sure don't hint at what they do. Some could replenish health, other MP(if the game uses MP?). Probably should make a savestate then buy them and test what they do.

I forget but I was under the impression that this game is one of the already dumped Metal Slug pirates for GBC(were there more than one?). Always wanted to find a copy of this game, seems to have been a common find in other countries up until 2005~6.

Edit: Yeah, just looked at the screenshots. Guess it's a Sintax game that other piraters redistributed with the stupid 9/11 story since they saw that as a way to make it appear to be something else. And I always thought it was an original game.
