Computer famiclones

I just recently rediscovered this page about an interesting computer Famiclone i found a while back. so im gonna start a thread about these things!

heres the one i found: http://2style.in/torahanako/pachifami_MUSICIAN.html
its a (computer) keyboard with a slide-out (music) keyboard. and it runs on... Windows XP? Well kinda.

the fake BIOS screen is the same as the dumped Windows 98 which is basically useless, it's just a start menu and a desktop that just leads to a bunch of random windows windows and static non-functional screenshots of programs and stuff.

but the XP on here actually does stuff, it has like a text editor and a calculator and a music thingy (naturally) and other programs that actually do stuff, plus a few fakey windows apps like QQ and IE.

there are three games included, all Nice Code - Boxworld, Bomberman 2002 and Pikachu Tetris. plus the QQ app has a bear asking if you're in Xian, which is where Nice Code is based, so i'm guessing this is their work. Which I suppose would also mean the useless 98 was theirs too.

Wow, does they keyboard use the Famiclone's sound chip? Im guessing it would, but you can never be 100% with these things til you have them in your hand.. but if it does, then it's EXACTLY what I've been searching around for, for the band I'm in :D

Not to stray off topic. But if that keyboard really does sound like an NES.. I need to find myself one of them. :P

lol well I tried to find some more info on it, maybe find somewhere you could buy one, I got this: http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/dyna/rapex/create_rapex.cfm?rx_id=140

"Electric shock, burns and injuries"

...

Well at least you know it was sold in Hungary in 2007 :D

And the main problem seems to be the AC adapter anyway, like it always is with these things. i just use a Sega one for everything like this.

Nice to see some info on the elusive Windows XP for the NES. Also, I think I read somewhere about there being a Windows 3.11 for the Super Nintendo, but that doesn't really fit this thread.

Well if there is a Windows 3.11 for the SNES I'll make it fit this thread. o_o i've never heard of that before.

I dunno, 3.11 on SNES sounds more like a hoax then anything. Then again, so does Windows XP on the Famicom.
