So how come Sintex and GBC games are hard to dump properly? They break easily?
No, they have copy protection which has to be cracked for the ROM to work.
Pirates have copy protection? Seems a bit ironic doesn't it? "DON'T ILLEGALLY COPY OUR ILLEGALLY COPIED GAMES!!" So then, how does one crack these things?

Btw Taizou, what exactly are Harry Boy IV and Final Fantasy IX about?

It's called "Lawn Mower".
Awesome, cool avatar man ;)
Heh thanks palzie!   You've got a cool avatar yourself! :thumb:

*sigh* I feel really bad asking you more of this, but what number is the game? I'm having a very hard time finding it out of all the 400 games in this stupid thing! :X

On another note, I think weirdest title goes to "Milk Nuts" wtf? And lawlziest title goes to Ninja III 2. lol

EDIT: OK never mind I found it! Turns out I was using the rom wrong! I was using as at rar and not extracting it lol.

OH, now I see there is a, My Little Pony hack of SMB2? I looks really good, who made this? It says HERO1000.

OK yeah I think I think it's just that a good amount of the games just don't work. I also found that a good amount of times they have the same games on the multiple times on the cart under different names. Like Mario 3 and Mario Bros 4 are the same as Mario Bros 1 except you cannot move at all. Also there's a Popeye game on it, is that their own creation?

Also thx for the link. :D

OK maybe it's not just my emulator, a lot of the ones on the first page don't work, does it do that with you? Like Wrecking Crew II? Btw so where can you get Cah4e3's FCEU mod?

I wanna try these games, but what emulator do you guys use to play these? I'm using Nestopia and most of the Nongoodnes games don't work, it keeps saying, "CPU Jam!"

1984-1992 / Is Somari beatable?
« on: August 16, 2011, 06:32:52 PM »
Well I don't know. I've only played a little bit of Somari, the farthest I got was the first boss, then I didn't continue after that. I suppose Somari might be beatable without savestates if you try hard enough, but I wouldn't recommend spending that much time mastering a crappy game like that.

It was the Squirrel King hack.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
Sorry for bumping an old topic, but by Squirrel King do you mean it's the same as the Mario Bros pirate for Genesis that was basically the same as Squirrel King?

Tamagotchis, another "toy phenomenon", have been bootleged as well. Here's an example of a Japanese Tamagotchi bootleg, Thimagotcha Color.
This site has tons of knockoff Tamagotchi toys.
Lol I looked at some of those, and they have one with a stylist, wtf? Wouldn't be surprised if it didn't even work considering the Thimagotcha Color wasn't even in color!

Oh btw I just remembered how I actually have these weird pirated/unlicensed Pokemon posters. One is of the Mewtwo Strikes Back movie poster, where they badly photoshoped an image of Mewtwo onto the poster, and apparently he was in some kind of yellow background so there's yellow all around him and in between him. Also on the same poster there are two Pikachus, and they're also poorly photoshoped on there. One is the Gen 1 Pikachu and the other is the I think either Gen 2 or 3 Pikachu, problem is the character designs look different so they don't even match. The second one is a big Pikachu on a green poster. This one's not as bad, just that Pikachu looks like it was a very small image they increased the size of so it looks like very bad quality. And the last on is of a whole bunch of Pokemon, this actually doesn't look that bad, I forget completely what it looked like. I have to dig those things out of storage lol.
