Quote: Who made them first?
Jaleco, technically. But i dunno who was the first to make the "TV Game Cartridge" version.Quote: Which companies made them also?
Loads. Orange ones seemed to be especially common in China in the mid-90s, I think Subor and maybe Yanshan Software used them among others. They showed up in Russia too. In Taiwan around the early-mid 2000s some company was making a pale blue version, and possibly still is, it's a common design for newish carts found on Ruten. I also seem to distinctly remember seeing old white ones with Super Contra on them. The newest ones like in your photo are made by "YH" who are one of the few multicart makers left in the game now, but they're pretty well known for low quality generic products.Quote: Why and when pirates stopped making them?
They didn't.Quote: Where do I find carts like this?
for some brand new YH carts, here: http://www.volumerates.com/cate/video-games-fc For the older ones you'll have to try auction sites and stuff, I guess.
